Default Fitting costs for ARB/Droplinks?

Looking to get a centre decat pipe, front and rear droplinks and a rear ARB fitted to my MY01 wagon. Been quoted £164 (plus VAT) for fitting. Surely it can't be a three hour + job?

Richard.

Fitting the links and ARB yourself on your drive would take around 40 minutes - less if you had access to ramps. The centre de-cat also shouldn't take more than half an hour if doing it yourself.

probably charging for a labour rate for each job seperately instead of combined.

Its not a hard job though to do any of that to be honest, just look at the cost factor against lying on a cold drive........... paying it is then

No garage should charge more than an hours labour for that lot imo.

Thanks guys - in line with my thoughts. From what I've read on here I was thinking more along the 60-90mins mark.

You can do the ARB and links on your drive with the Subaru jack and a hydraulic jack.
Your exhaust pipe likewise if you get the car high enough.
A lift or ramp makes the job a doddle. May be an hour or there abouts.
