Looking at my ecu today, was surprized to find a W9 ecu, I am lead to believe that a WRX 93 import should have a Z4.
Whats the difference if any and is the W9 suitable. It has got a superchips ABC fitted also, but this is gonna be removed asap.

No, 95/96 wrx have the z4.
the z4 is rated at 260ps whereas the the 93wrx is 240ps.

 

Post Sept 94 WRX should have a Z4 running 12.7psi/260ps
A W9 is from a 93/94 WRX RA running 11.47psi/240ps
