Whats the starting point for switching over to an external wastegate on a classic? what turbo?, what size wastegate? supporting mods etc etc?

I dont know alot about this sort of boost control so lots of into would be appreciated thanks.

 

i guess the first question would be, why do you want to? what are you trying to acheive with the car?

 

Im just curious as to how its done. I have no plans for the my car.
