Default Cleaning boost solinoid

Having done a search on here i see the advice is to use brake cleaner,
i have tried to get some from my local motor accessory store but don't sell it
is there anything else that will do?

I think you need touse something that evaporates away completely and thus doesnt also clog the pipes.Brake cleaner fits the bill.Halfords don't seem to do it but I get mine at a small inderpendent shop with no problems.
