i am fitting a avc-r boost controller to my my99 rb5 do i leave the restrictor in the pipe work or is it no longer needed also does anyone have any pics of there controller fitted in engine bay to give me an idea where and how to fit solinoid and map sensor as isnt much space on original mounting point.

you mean the restrictor in the actuator pipe. This all has to be removed to allow fitment of the apexi 3 port solenoid and pipework, this now does the job of the restrictor. on mine I managed to fasten the three port solenoid and pressure sensor to the plate where the original sensors are fitted on the drivers side strut.

what he said.. remove original pipework..
run from the COM to the actuator (cylinder on the turbo) and NO to the compressor cover.
T the map sensor into the original map sensor pipe.
