Default Can i fit a 95 engine into a 2000 car???

I have a 2000 x reg uk car with a piston half way through the crank case.
I have another complete engine from a 95 WRX which i know is good. Will this engine go in and if so what modifications will i need to do?
Is it just a case of swapping the inlet manifolds and wiring loom over?

Can't give all the answers, but the inlet manifold wont fit due to the hole locations. The gear box mounting has less holes but i believe this will still fit.

Hope this helps.
