Default HKS advice

If you have a PPP sti newage be aware that the HKS Hyper wont fit without the down pipe as well!!! This is down to the PPP cat being a bit longer so its puts all your hangers on the p*ss. Im a lucky boy tho as Ralph at Milsport has sorted me with a lovely new down pipe(at GREAT price) so unlucky for me im fully decatted HKS!! No coincidence that im at scoobyclinic next week. Hmmm remap defi gauges SECS etc etc etc.

eeemm not quite right as far as i am aware - HKS hiper is designed for the JDM cars which had the longer downpipe ( like the classic cars )

the uk cars needed a hks extention pipe

it sounds like Ralph has put on a classic downpipe and welded in a extra lamda thread ( thats what i did on mine ), or fit a JDM down pipe

it would have probably been cheaper to fit the extention pipe and keep your mot firendly downpipe

but what does sound odd is that you say the uk downpipe was to long which I don't understand and blows my understanding out of the window

Now i am confused. On the HKS website it states to fit the hyper to a uk car you need the down pipe? So I bought one!! I assume the gdb hyper is for jap cars to start? Mine is a uk car so will it now fit with the down pipe??? I bloody hope so!!

Ta for that!! Im fairly confident that with the front pipe replacing the sports cat it should mate to the centre and BB and all work out!! You would thing HKS would advertise the fact that their cat-back systems dont fit UK cars! I could do with knowing if this will fit or its £700 for a headache. Gotta say milsport have been very helpful throughout

im sure it will fit

all im trying to say is you could have tried to save a bit of money and get the link pipe and keep the sports cat DP

do a search for the HKS downpipe as im not sure if i have seen bad comments about them - i could be wrong
