Default MY99 ae802 ECU and remap.

can anyone tell me if the ae802 ECU in a MY99 u.k is restricting when getting it tek3 remapped? or can it be mapped just the same as the ae800 or 801? was gutted to find the 802 a while back in my car, are there actually any advantages to having this version? (apart from pleasing the green party).
car to be mapped has certain engine mods...
full decat system with 3" down pipe
harvey smith headers
harvey smith slip jointed up pipe
forge vta
green panel filter
walbro 255 fuel pump

original TD04 turbo (alas )

Any of the ecu's mentioned can be remapped and there would be no difference, the hardware is the same for each only the software (rom) changed

best regards

just to say thanks bob. straight from the horses mouth as it were.
regarding the mods mentioned, what are the likely power figures. are the harvey smith headers and up-pipe likely to make much difference to the mapping?
