Howdy all. Just purchaed a HKS hiper fpr my01 sti ppp but I do fancy a decat. Now the HKS one is £235 and supposedly a bit restrictive. So what are my down pipe options? anything else mate to it?

you'll have a cat in your up pipe, down pipe and center section.

options are to do away with one or two or three or keep standard, bear in mind you ppp will be useless if you do change your exhaust plus you may need a remap and uprated fuel pump

3 cats?? I understood PPP got rid of the centre cat and just left one in the down pipe? In which case the HKS centre and box mates onto the existing section but a downpipe would make it clean thru? Or am I wrong. Re-map is on its way anyway but im assuming if its a three inch system would any 3 inch down pipe work.IE afterburner etc etc? how many pipes and cats do I have!
