STI 7/8 bonnet undertray
I am about to fit an STI 8 intercooler to a MY99 UK car and need an undertray (is this the right term?) for it to match.
My question is are the undertrays from an STI 7 and 8 the same or does it have to be from an STI 8?

They are different - the STi8 (blobeye) tray is much deeper to fit under the large scoop.
The STi7 tray is so shallow that it will actually fit under the blobeye WRX scoop.
Both trays have the same sized plate to fit over the large intercooler though.
Which tray you go for depends on what scoop you will be using.
If its an STi8 replica then get the bigger tray.
If using your std scoop then use which ever can be found cheaper as it'll have to be moddified to fit properly.
