hey i have my first scooby a 99 turbo 2000 uk it has a dump valve and k and N filter and thats all the mods to the engine

when i put my foot down it seems to be sucking in lot of air you can hear it in side the car then when u let the throttle of the dump valve goes off and you can hear the turbo spin and also in side you can smell petrol quite strongly i dont know if this is right as its my first impreza i dont knwo what i should be hearing and any noise ive not heard before i worry what it could be

i might just be over reacting as its my first one ihope this dont make e sound like a complete plonke.

The sucking noise you can hear will just be the k&n filter (I take it that it is a cone filter you have?)

Don't worry about it

Not sure about that petrol smell though?
