Brake upgrades & weight..?
Does anyone know the weights difference of:
OEM subaru 4 pots 294mm discs
AP 4 pots 325mm two piece discs
AP 6 pots 335mm two piece discs..?
Also how do these compare to STI gold Brembo 4 pots and 330mm solid discs..?
Feel the need for some bigger brakes on my WRX but I want to keep unsprung weight to a minimum. PS no track work..

I've got the biggest set of AP 6 pots (fit under 19's only) and they are very light for their size...it shocked me as the calipers weight sod all...its the alloy used in them...made for racing. The discs also have the same alloy (I think) in the hubs so not much weight added if any. The difference in breaking is mental though, its like chaining your car to a truck to stop....
The AP kits will do you well m8!

You can get the weights of the AP parts off their site in the roadcar section.
