Default Walbro fuel pump

Well my walbro fuel pump has just packed up! what was cause this so called uprated pump to fail? The car has been mapped and the pump has just failed out of the blue for no apparent reason. Any ideas?

Like all mechanical/electrical items they just "do". I had two in tank and one packed in totally, the other was fine.
Now replaced by two Bosch 901's, fun to get back in tank

Well changed the fuel pump for another walbro item and it did not last a week, exactly the samething. Any suggestions what could cause the fuel pump to go? could it be due to a bad connection?

If you send the fuel pump back to the suppliers then you should get a very quick response re failure. Assuming you bought form the UK? The Uk dealers are very quick and accurate with diagnosing Walbro failures

After some great help over on 22b.com, the fault maybe down to a buggered fpr! causing the system to flow freely therefore over working the fuel pump and causing its demise.
