Default wire into car

need some advice, ive put a new head unit in me scoob now i am wanting to up grade the speakers and add an amp to it. where is the best place to run a power wire to the back as their dosnt seam to be any obvious gromit that i can remove, or does it invole drilling a hole in the bulk head??? and advice would be appreciated muchly!!!

I'd guess it may depend on what car you have , but have you checked the ICE section - the FAQ sticky has a bit about fitting a new HU (and iPod adaptor) in an 05 WRX which needed a power feed wiring in. No bulkhead drilling required...

there's a nice big gromit at the right hand side of engine that goes in behind passenger side dash

Yeah mate i suppose it would depend on what car you have. On my1995 wrx there is the grommit on the passenger side behind the dash which makes it nice and easy to run a wire or two through.
