IS IT SAFE TO INSTALL A HKS INDUCTION KIT ON A 1999 IMPREZA?

I HAVE READ THE MAF SENSOR IS A NOTORIUOS PROBLEM

ANY ADVICE WELCOME

 

i have a MY00 and i went through 2 MAFs because i had a K&N induction kit on it,so i went back to the original...

 

Not recommended on a MY99-00 if still using a maf, K & N 57i should be ok though as long as your fueling is checked out for safety after fitting.

make sure you have the latest maf fitted and not the original still.
