Question IMPREZA WRX OIL FILTER

PLEASE CAN SOMEBODY TELL ME IF THE OIL FILTER IS NORMAL OR REVERSE THREAD AS I CANNOT GET MY FILTER OFF?

THE CAR IS A WRX 1995 IMPORT IFTHAT MATTERS

thread is normal.. you nedd bigger muscles or to buy an oil filter removal tool.

get a chain wrench should do the trick

I have got a chain wrench, the bugger is on tight!!! is it normal or reverse thread?

Yeah normal thread.. I find the filter tool like a large set of pliers is best..

If all else fails (ie. last resort) hammer a screwdriver through it just not near the base.. ie, don't hit the thread in the block whcih sticks down about 2inches into the filter.
