Yes, the PPP system is compatable with the aftermarket offerings, in fact, the section that the back box bolts on to is the original STi resonator section which isn't changed.

If you've got a PPP system on it already, you already have a perfectly good set-up. From the cat back, you mean the downpipe - this is the only section on the STi PPP system to have a (high flow) cat in it. I assume you just want more noise? If so, there's a big choice out there!

If you have an STI with PPP, the exhaust will consist of:
Sports catted downpipe
Decat small centre section
Standard resonated centre section
Prodrive back box.
If you want more noise replace the back box and resonated section.

starting from the turbo you have cat down pipe, then a smaller cat pipe, then the centre section and finally the back box. if you go onto scoobyworld you can view a very god diagram of the exhaust system. I have a prodrive sports cat, a second cat decat pipe, the standard centre section and a prodrive back box. I get a throaty rumble which imo sounds better than the really loud blitz etc.

If its the PPP pack Subaru replace the heat shield over the new decatted centre pipe. So no cat.
