Default sti 5/6 rear spoiler

Hey guys just waiting to take delivery of my sti 6 spoiler and im just a bit worried as to how to fix it safely?

The one in question uses the original bolts but i cant help thinking that the original 4 bolts wont be strong enough?

Anyone have any experence with fitting these spoilers?

Thanks guys

I think you use sealant on the spoiler where it touches the boot lid as well as the bolts.

i didnt fit mine personally, as when getting the sti v6 spoiler i took the bootlid off the donor car so to speak. he kept my bootlid and mid level v4 spoiler (both cars were the same colour)... was stuck on with 8 bolts lol and a full line of silicone adhesive sealent, right round the spoiler... no chavs getting it off, never ever... also its waterproof (obviously) so is better for the brake light...

id personally suggest extra bolts then mate. and if you want it sealing better to stop seaping water, pop a band of rubber round the underside of the spoiler which would pull against the bootlid when screwed down... no nasty scratches too...
