Rear Seat fitment
Hi folks,
My 2004 Impreza STi rear seat was taken out by the Subaru garage last weekend to resolve a problem. All good and fine, and problem sorted.
However, when I inspect the rear seat now (the upright back rest section, not the bit your **** sits on), it is loose on one side and not attached to the rear!
I am struggling to see how it fits. I can feel some sort of hook but I'm buggered if I can get the seat to move. Can anyone offer any tips or info please?
I'll take it back to teh garage if I have to, but I thought is it were an easy job I'd rather do it myself.
Many thanks,
Ade.

easy when you know how
you need to take the bottom cushion off first ( 2 bolts on the front). That reveals 4 ( or is it 3) bolts securing the bottom of the backrest to the bulkhead. Remove all of these and you can lift the backrest up. press it backwards quite firmly while pulling it down to make sure all the hooks at the top engage, theres one at either side and one in the middle ( if theres a openeing hatch?). Then put all the bolts back in.....voila
