oil pressure problem

oil pressure problem
my oil pressure seems to be playing up a little
dont know if its the guage or sender or somthing else
when i switch my ignition on the guage just shoots around to 100psi and stays there even when the engine is running
and also my oil light on the dash is not lighting up when ignition is on
but when its started you can just see a little flicker from it then it goes out
any ideas?
