Default wobbly drivers window...

as stated above really. drivers side window is a bit shakey when moved by hand, like its loose or something. passenders side, nice and stiff, so im assuming its loose or something. im no engineer, but if i popped off the doorcard is there anything i can do my self with a basic socket set, or is the window fooked? im not after any sarcy replies, just thinking "could i save some pennies and fix this myself"...

i did think it may have happened to this and not the n/s front window as obviously the drivers side door gets opened/closed more often...

any quick guides or helpful notes/hints. a search didnt prove successful...

t.i.a.

Take the door panel off and check if the window has jumped off one the gliders or perhaps one of them has snapped

You will probably find when you take the door card off, that the small bolts (10mm iirc)holding the full window mechanism onto the door are loose and the holes might even be elongated slightly ,my last scoob an MY99 done it a few times and the second time i used some liquid threadlock on them and that seemed to cure the problem.no trouble after that

Also if you remove the door card there are two white blocks that hold the window tight against the outer rubber, betcha these have moved
