hi, I'm thinking of going back to a 16 inch rim on my classic hillclimber to get the softer tyre compounds i want for next season. I currently run compomotive MO's in 7.5x17 with a 38 offset (daft i know) which clear my gold sti brembos by a country mile.

However I really am not keen on going to subaru 4 pots as it is too much of a compromise in performance after having tried some.

To my point, has anyone fitted or does anyone know a brake kit that will deliver high performance and fit under 16 inch rims, I intend to get compomotive wheels again so calliper clearance should not be an issue if i can find something that will do the job.

Any advice/help much appreciated.

AP do a 308mm kit that fits under 16 inch rims I believe. If APs can't stop you, nothing will........................... except maybe whatever you subsequently hit!

nice, sounds expensive though, could any modern sti type applications or the like be adapted to fit under smaller rims to avoid the huge cost of ap's?
