what is standard boost for my00 turbo , i have GGR full exhaust with sports decat and GGR induction, i was told it was 1.1 bar mine is 1.4 bar . can someone clarify this please.

 

Standard boost on a MY00 would be 0.9 bar

 

13.7 psi

 

You don't wanna be running 1.4bar (held) on the MY00 TD04 turbo.

 

could the ecu have been modified by previous owner. i contacted GGR and they dont hold records. ive not touched the ecu since i bought it 2 years ago and its allways been same. i will speak to prosport when i am there next week

 

Yep sounds like the ecu has been mapped at some point, standard ecu would hit fuel cut before reaching 1.4 bar

 

IIRC standard boost on a MY00 car is 0.9bar .... PPP runs 1.1bar ....but my PPP car has hit just under 1.3bar before .... but very rarely!
