Default How many grooves in the discs etc ?

Seen a few sets of discs for sale, i have seen a well priced decent set of discs, with 4 grooves and they are drilled as well.

i have also seen some toher cheaper types with like 40 grooves on.

surely 40 is a bit much, or is it, is 4 to little to do anything, apart from look better ?

the ones with 4 grooves were also drilled, whereas the 40 grooved ones were solid,no drills

cheers..........

The more grooves the less area of the disc available to stop the car...

4 grooves are enough and look smart, but steer clear from drilled, they tend to crack!
