Default help , scooby novice with problem with juddering lol

hi hope you can give me some help !

ok if im cruising along at low boost cars fine

but if i put my foot to the floor it judders when u hit 4500 revs or 10 psi , if u go up the revs slowly your fine and go can right up to 6000 revs no prob but try to do it quickly and it judders

have just fitted a boost gauge and its not running high boost at the moment as ive just finished running in the engine ( only running bout 11 / 12 psi i think) and its when it hit 10 theres the problem

have cleaned boost selonoid

so does it maybe need spark plugs ? api told me i didnt after the rebuild run in but the bloke i brought the car off said i would so that confused me !

or is it coil packs ? im just learning bout scooby engines so not sure what these do lol just something someone has mentioned !

is they anyway of testing these? or does it need to go on a diagonstic ?

Exclamation plugs

I had exactly the same problem with my scoob bout two weeks ago, it was more noticable in 3, 4th and 5th gear, apparently i was missfiring wen foot was to the floor, got new spark plugs an new leads, cars good as new now,

Definately worth checking the coil packs. Remove them from the engine then carefully take off the rubber boot and check for cracks, even hairline cracks can cause them to fail. If any are cracked they need replacing. You can wrap them with insulating tape then put the rubber boots back on but that is only a temporary fix.

For reference API were the cheapest place I found for coil packs when I replaced mine.

Not hard but a little tricky to get at. When I did mine I removed the airbox to get to the ones on the drivers side and the battery on the passenger side.
