Default Prodrive intercooler pipe

Ive just been lucky enough to aquire a genuine prodrive intercooler pipe for my 52 bugeye but i have been told that this may cause a fault to show up with the engine management because of the increased air flow and because my car is otherwise standard. This sounds like bollocks to me but can anyone tell me if its true. Thanks. If it is does anyone want to buy it!

The pipe will not show a cell unless you fit it incorrectly, the prodrive pipe is stronger than the black plastic one that is on the car at the moment and good if you are running more boost..

Apart from the nice colour, a fetching blue iirc you'll notice nowt as far as performace goes. It just has more plys and is stronger than the original.
