Turbo has stamped on it TD05H then there is a separate stamp with 4G on it
I see the 16g and 20g examples but what is this version, can anyone enlighten me please?

Not sure and just an idea 4g was something to do with the mitsi evo engine so is it a evo turbo?

I thought the mitsi turbos spooled in the opposite direction to the scoob turbos????? (He says going out on a limb!!!)

Hmmm - Don't think the evo route is correct. It is a spare turbo I have which I inherited when I bought my Impreza

Nick : You are 100% correct. I was involved in a car with a Titanium shaft in the TD05 turbo and I reasoned it would spool quickly. The owner phoned me as he only had .3 or .4 bar of boost. I assumed this would be something simple and then spent 3 days trying to work out what was wrong.
When I came home on the Saturday afternoon, watching the Grand Prix warm up it suddenly came to me. Indeed, Evo turbos do spin in the opposite direction to the Subaru item so no matter how light a Titanium shaft you have it is no bloody good.
