Question 30k service, Big or not?

My scoobs 30k service is due in 400 miles
I'm getting confilcting information as to whether its a large (£££) service or not.
The place I'd planned on taking it say it's a large service (£300+vat) yet checking Zen's website a 30k service for a newage is a basic service (£83)

Which is correct?
I've got a 53 plate blob eye by the way.

Subaru main dealer quoted me £350.00 but that was with a body check (35.00 plus vat) so £411 all in.

Going to a specialist and paying £220.00 as I'm providing my own spark plugs.

Ditto the above mate, but relax 40k is a small service (£150ish) then the 50k cambelt service (£400ish).

Take your own oil and save about £30 and for that you can supply fully synthetic or exactly what you want

I shall look at this properly tomorrow and make any necessary changes.

The important thing though, is that you can have whatever service you need for your car. And we service at very competitive rates:

Basic oil service: £98.64 inc vat
Oil and plugs: £189.12 inc vat
Full service (all fluids, filters): £349.19 inc vat
Oil, plugs and timing belt: £350.09 inc vat

Warranty remains intact and valid

Cheers all,
Liz @ Zen

Yes I know how you feel, mine needs 2 tyres, 50k service, MOT and insurance in the next couple of months and all I want to spend the money on is upgrades .
