Now bear in mind that Im learning on the go here, and this is a pretty initial question. Anyways, I own a 2001 Subaru Impreza TS sedan (which I believe is 2.2L 145hp) and was wondering if a) an engine swap was possible and b) it was worth it. Overall goal is to create a more powerful vehicle, without necassarily purchasing an entirely new one. I have been eyeing 2.5 STI's but was hoping that this kind of transformation would be just as viable to give my current car more kick. Any thoughts?
