Default Top radiator hose split

Hi guy's and gal's, out for a drive earlier and noticed steam coming out of the bonnet vent Pulled over and found a pin hole in the top radiator hose. Got one on order from Showells (£23 + vat) Does anyone know where the water level is as the reservoir is made of metal??? Do you just top it up to the top?
Cheers

Its to the top mate, it tells you all about it and how to bleed it in the owners handbook. Exactly the same happened to mine the other week, sounds like a common prob as when I ordered a new one the dealer said they usually keep 3 in stock. I changed mine and put a new bottom one off ebay on aswell just to make sure but when I took the bottom one off it looked fine - like the new one I got. You would be best bleeding the system. I have just recieved a full set of silicone coolant hoses from japan that I bought from zenaracing off ebay - £58 delivered and that is buy it now price to
