Hello peeps mite sound abit dumb but ive got a 98 uk turbo wot engine oil to u recommend thanks

I asked the same question very recently as i was unsure due to so many brands, grades, plus the age of the motor. It all becomes very confusing unless your pretty clued up on it.

I was politely told to search for the answer on Scoobynet, and indeed, the answers are all there.
Type OIL into the search bar and you'll find what you need

Im running Mobil 1 Fully Synth 15W/50 in my 97MY Turbo, as recommended by Dave at API. I experimented with some 5W/50 trackday crap from Halfrauds once but all that seemed to do was run at 1bar less pressure everywhere and was in a sorry state after 1000 miles of normal driving.
