Default FMIC on Classic Type R

I'm considering having an FMIC fitted shortly and wondered if I should keep the IC spray? Also where should the piping be relocated to?

Thanks in advance

Esh

With a good FMIC you will not need it but at the same time you have little to lose by retaining it. If you can relocate it easily yourself on the bumper lip in front of the FMIC core then keep it but if that is a problem or there are other advantages from removing the spray kit eg. space/weight, then take it out.

I recently fitted a fmic to my typeR and chose to retain the water spray, Its simply a matter of pulling your original piping through and sending it beside the headlight into the bumper to suit the new position of your jets, put mine behind the number plate. Also, Evo jets have a more suitable spray pattern.
