Tek 3 + AVC-R = Confused Rolling Road ?????

Tek 3 + AVC-R = Confused Rolling Road ?????
Can someone tell me how this would work. If there are different boost setings throughout the gears what way would they rolling road it. In 5th gear or something ? Or is that how they do it anyway.
