if i change my standered ecu on my 93 wrx import would i get noticable gains an would it be a straight swop? its ben fully de-cat'd an has a hks manifold

as far as i know you will feel a diference as it runs at 1 bar boost as my friend has one fitted to his 93 wrx and it is just plug and play mate

The Z4 or Z5 is ideally suited to your current std turbo (TD05) - it will have a higher boost target than the original WRX ecu (12.71psig rather than 11.47psig) plus the maps are similar to that from the Prodrive ECU 
so will provide noticeable gains.
