I sometimes leave MY06 WRX in my garage for a couple of weeks then come to take it out and it's dead. Battery voltage down to 1.5V. Any ideas why?. This has happened a couple of times now only when you leave it stood for a period of time.

From what I have seen on here in can be to do with the tracker system. Do a search on here to see what has been said previous.

No tracker as standard on a MY06 WRX... unless it's been fitted by the owner. I have left one for just under two weeks and it's been fine. Get the dealer to replace the battery as a starting point.

Also - occassionaly you may want to drive around with your side lights on. They have this 'intelligent' alternator system, whereby it won't kickin and hence charge the battery unless a certain voltage is being drawn.
