my car died today!
apexi commander started to register low voltage from battery (8.9).no alternator light came on just died.noticed a low voltage last week just got worse.when the car was revved no change in volt reading.
is it the battery or alternator?

I'd suspect the alternator. Because once the car is running it should be down to the alternator to power the car and charge the battery. I would check all the connections first as you could have a dodgy earth or something.

garage checked it yesterday and found the alternator had died!first problem ive had with the car since i bught it so i cant complain.

hi - what did they diagnose as faulty in the alternator ? or did they just replace the entire thing ?
