Default '54 WRX exhaust fit '51 WRX?

Can anyone confirm that a full (scoobysport decat) exhaust system from a 54 plate WRX will fit a MY01 WRX, (I guess blobeye to bugeye)?

Fingers crossed because I've recently bought one and it turned up today. Looks great, except the downpipe looks a lot shorter than a previous decat downpipe I had under my bed (TSL Group A).

Thanks.

was the downpipe under the bed from a classic by any chance? if so that will explain it.... if youve got a full system anyway there is nothing to worry about.

I'm not sure if the 'downpipe under the bed' was for a classic or not, I bought it from a fellow SN'er and was under the impression it was for a newage.....

I've bought a complete scoobysport system, roll on fitment and re-remap next Thursday!!

Thanks for the advice on the MY04/MY01 compatibility - I was worried for a moment.
