I've just had a set of Harvey's stage 2 headers with matched up-pipe fitted to my MY03 STI (together with his hybrid FMIC) . Other mods were a 3" custom exhaust and sports cat (and of course uprated fuel pump). Then yesterday I went up to Andy F for a remap, where the car produced no less than 351bhp at 6300rpm.

Nothing but praise for the mods - ballistic in every gear, standard turbo now picks up so much more quickly. Harvey is also very professional and meticulous in the way he works. Guarantee you wouldn't be disappointed!

Cheers, Andrew

I purchased an up-pipe from Harvey, and he was very helpful in explaining what was required in the porting and wrapping of the headers. The up pipe comes wrapped, stainless steel and slip jointed to allow for expansion.
I did the porting and wrapping myself on the headers, all I can say is that it is a worthwhile modification, spool up is earlier, and I seem to have more torque lower down in the rev range, can drive around in 4th gear at 30mph now, whereas before I was in 3rd gear. If you look at the OEM up pipe you will see how restrictive it is.

Car is MY99

Hope this helps.

I bought an up-pipe from Harvey and ported my own headers, The pipe came wrapped and ready to fit. The quality is second to done, nice thick flanges and the welds are just amazing.....if your in the welds that is.

Harvey had been ill when I ordered mine and he missed my email asking for the pipe so it was a little tight time wise as Andy F was mapping my ecu a few days later.

Harvey rang me and offered to fit the pipe for free at his workshop, how many people would do that?

I fitted the up-pipe and headers along with 550 injectors and a power fc and FMIC so cannot comment on what difference they made on there own but I can drive in 5th gear at 1000 with no probs and boost now comes in at around 3000 rather than 4000ish.

i have Harvey's headers and up-pipe, all wrapped and fitted by Harvey. Much smoother power delivery and nicer to drive

Buy 'em, you won't regret it

well worth the outlay, will compliment all the other mods you want to do as well as part of a well rounded package

Great mod and for the money he charges you really cant go wrong.

The headers and uppipe help my turbo kick in @ 3150 which is pretty quick for an 18G
