What Turbo is fitted to a 99 Wrx Wagon ???
Hi,
Im trying to find out what a MY99 JDm Wrx Wagon engine spec is ??
Is this on a Tdo4 Turbo ?? or otherwise ??
What is the Standard Bhp & Torque for that model as i know the Saloons have always had more power than the Wagon version ??
Thanks V Much

My MY98 WRX wagon came with a TD04. Standard bhp for that year was 250bhp, which was pretty much the high water mark for wagons. I think the MY99 went back to 240bhp. All wagons AFAIK had slightly higher compression engines to suit lugging stuff about rather than thrashing around everywhere and their torque output was closer to the bhp than for the saloons. Most of the electrics are different from WRX saloons and the same as UK Turbos of the time, which again points to expected lower power outputs.
I know for a fact that when I first got my wagon you could leave it in high gear and lug it around at 2000-4000 revs pretty much all the time if you wanted. It would pull well from under 3000 revs. I've got a VF35 and Power FC now and even though it goes like a bloody rocket once you're on boost, below 3000 it's totally gutless.
