hi all this is my first post and im new to imprezas so please bare with me.

i have a 93 wrx which has developed a missfire, no probs i thought must be the coil packs breaking down heard its pretty common so found a second hand set taken from a write off with only 10,000 miles on the clock but they have no wires with them and they look different to the ones on the scoob already so i was wondering have i bought coil packs from a later scoob, i realise its difficult to tell without pictures but any help or advice would be appreciated before i start stripping the gubbins to get to the coil packs.

the wires that lead to my coil packs seem to dissapear into the coil pack itself where the ones i have bought have a two prong plug connector how do the wires attach to the coil packs on your scoobs.

thanx mate mine look totaly different and the fact there is no wires coming from mine just the plug makes me think i have bought the wrong ones as the ones on the car at the moment seem to be seald units with no way of getting the wire out.
