A cat sneezing, i mean, i want a whooooooooosh, but what ive got is more like a tweeeeeeeeedle noise, i took a colleague out in it at lunch, he said, u gottaget a dump valve on it, i said i have, booted it a bit upto about 0.5 boost and he went, hmm, not very loud/deep is it, i agree, some scoobs go by me and whooosh it goes, mine sounds like my cat sneezing, i thought HKS SS were the dogs danglies for the whooosh ?

The HKS doesn't make a "WOOOSH" but a higher pitch squeak so it sound like there is nothing wrong with the d/v itself.
IMO you would of been better of leaving the std d/v and spending your money else were but hey it's your car/money..

My new forge dv sounds like the air brake off a truck!?
Ordered a set of stiffer springs for it so rather than tsssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssh it'll be more tssssh. Plus at lower boost levels it won't even open so I'll get the fluttter sound

I think mine sounds fine, but it has got 1.6bar helping it along. Get a remap & it should help give the valve more pressure to make the noise out off.... wont cost much more than a ssqv either
