sorry but i have to ask...
It’s been at least a couple of days since someone has asked questions like this.
So before I start I would like to apologise for asking these questions I have done a search but you never find the exact answers you want.
I’ve had my Jap wagon now for 4 months in this time I have fitted a panel filter, a full decat exhaust and a esl ecu. I well happy with the results (apart from the inside cabin noise the 6x4 oval gives) I can’t believe how hard it pulls so this has got thinking about upgrading my turbo (I wonder how hard it will pull then).
First off is there anyone that wishes they never upgraded there turbo?
If I manage to get a TD05, do I need to fit a better fuel pump and injectors? If not, how would I benefit if I did?
Since decent TD05’s are hard to come by is there a similar VF turbo which would be a straight bolt on?
I have no figures of what I want to achieve I just want to improve the acceleration not bothered about top end.
Oh and I only want to spent £300 tops all in.
