Default APEXI CEL

Hi All

Lately I've found the CEL ligth is coming on when I'm really pushing the car, its not the Knock level as this rarely gets above 20. It doesnt seem to be speeed related, but only seems to happen when I really put my foot down.

Does the APEXI flash the CEL for overboost? On that point is it flashing because the car is set up and mapped for 1.45bar and the APEXI cant read this high.

Any way to find out on the APEXI what it is?

Any advice greatly appreciated.

Thanks
JBJ

The CEL will also flash if you get close to 100% IDC

HI

Thanks for the reply the 550 inj's never seem to get into the 90's so I dont think its that.

If it is the APEXI flashing the CEL because the boost is over what it can read then, thats no problem but it is a bit off putting. Any way to check this on the APEXI or better still turn it off.

Thanks

if you chase it too much on a cold engine the injector duty increase and may flag a cel
or you are maxing out on airflow if running a smaller maf housing
