i have been offered an ecu of a P1 at a good price and was wondering wether it would make any difference putting it on an MY99 uk impreza. so far its bin decated and the boost raised slightly using a dawes device and thats it.

I am almost 100% sure this won't work. Try having a search around and you should be able to find an answer

 

It won't work, the wirng looms are different, even if you rewired you would kill your engine as the fueling and ignition maps are far to lary for a Eurospec car. Basically the mapping is identical to the JDM Sti 5 and 6.
