Default blackjax - is it working correctly ???

ive got blackjax fitted to my car and it was allready on there when i bought it. now i went for a drive yesterday and forgot to plug in the number, and with the stereo on i never heard the chirping you normally get warning you...
so then the alarm siren cut in, so i quickly banged in the code and continued driving. so my question is at what point does the car get immobilised / cut out?? do you get a siren for a bit then cut out or is it supposed to cut out when the alarm starts ??

It is warning you it is about to cut out.

When it gets below a predetermined set revs say 1,000 it will just shut the engine off. That way the engine is not damaged when it is at higher revs.

HTH.
