Default inlet temp sensor

will drilling a 4mm hole in the inlet side of my intercooler (to place sensor for measuring inlet temps) cause any serious damage to the effectiveness of the intercooler?

ikarl,

Drilling a hole in the i/c is not a good idea, as this will produce swarf which could make its way into the engine, suggest you take a look at Carl Daveys thread on the project thread about inlet cooling, this should give you the answers you are looking for..
