Default Head Extraction

Any one got any clues as to the beast way of getting the heads of an impreza engine turbo 2000 once engine is out need to take main cover off but cant find a way of loosning the bolt on the tensioner without turning the engine over as i have no gearbox connected

Help!!!!

There should be a hole on the side of the block so you can use a bolt/flat head screw driver to lock the flywheel.
If your talking about the cam wheel then air tool usually works, otherwise you will need a tool to lock & hold each cam wheel whilst the main bolts are undone.

However were about is the hole on the block sorry for my ignorance i cant seem to see one

It would be easier to look at the flywheel & then look around the left hand side of the block casing, the hole should line up with the cog/teeth of the flywheel.
