If 340 is your max goal, then keep your 440's and invest in a fpr to raise fuel pressure slightly, you will be able to fuel for that type of power that way.

You should be running an uprated fuel pump for that type of power and if so its best to get a fpr anyway, there are reports of the classic OE regulators being overpowered by them.

Sorry should of said its already been mapped 310/270. Im now putting a bigger tmic on and was told on the day of mapping the injectors idealy needed changing. I have a fpr that i havent fitted yet.So are you suggesting i fit the fpr and give the injectors a miss?? My main goal is to try and get the torque up..

Thanks

Yep, keep your injectors, invest in a FPR (and a fuel pump if not already) IMO

Your mapper will advise you what to set the fuel pressure to.

More boost will get you more torque, the VF28 is not renowned for it's ability to blow a lot of air at high PRs so I would consider swapping to a TD05 or a VF34.
