Default Hi, Power from a WRX please?

Hi everyone.

After searching hi and low for insurance for a 2door, i came to the conclusion that it just wasn't possible to insure someone at my age on that type of car.

Anyway, found a wrx that i really like. Got the money out the bank and all set to buy. Just wondering a few things? Hope you's can help?

From a wrx (04 plate) engine, what safe but increased BHP can be achieved? Also a run down of parts needed would be great!!!

Also been thinking about just buying an STi engine, found one for sale. However it does require some work.

Just trying to think cost effective here.

Thanks for both your time and any help given. Hopefully buy the weekend i'm a Subaru owner.

Bye for now.

different pistons/rods, uprated turbo on sti, more power as standard, 245 wrx compared to 270ish on the sti, decat, fuel pump, air filter and remap should be good for about 330bhp on a 04 sti.
