Need a little clarification. I have an MY02 WRX (v7) and am upgrading to an STi v8 top mount intercooler. I know the intercooler will fit but the question is - Will the accompanying STi undertray fit my car? My car is a bugeye where as the donar car is a Blobeye?

I know the undertray on an STi 7 will fit but not sure about the STi 8. Advice greatly appreciated.

Does the STI8 undertray fit a classic with high level scoop or are the airsplitters too high for this? Any difference between the STI7 and STI8 undertray in the tallness?

yes, but you will need the bigger STi scoop to accompany it (as I found out to my annoyance)

 

OR, you can make it fit but it requires a fair bit of effort to do. I did it on mine and it worked very well
